Coping With Childhood Cancer

Every year, 15,780 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer. Little Emily Tate was just a year old when she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her kidney. The journey had a happy ending for Emily and her family, but it is something that will forever stick with them.

Emily finished up the last of her treatment at Carilion Children's Hospital in March of 2015, and today she is in remission and thriving. Watch the video to see how childhood cancer affected this special family.
